Single cell sequencing of peripheral blood mononuclear cells and spleenocytes from 4 polytraumatized patients with splenectomy

Our understanding of role of immune cells in the different immune compartments is incomplete. Here, we investigate the heterogeneity of immune celltypes in splenocytes, in contrast with already well-characterized PBMCs. Overall design: We performed scRNA sequencing to understand the function of immune celltypes in the heterogeneous PBMC and spleen cells population. We combined this technology to CITE-sequencing to obtain measurement at the protein and transcriptome level and to HASH-sequencing in order to measure these data simultaneously in PBMC and spleen.
