The hillfort and broch at Edin's Hall dates from the Iron Age; the original fortification was probably first constructed in the period 400 - 200 BC, while the broch and stone roundhouses came a little later, probably in the late 1st millennium BC or early 1st millennium AD. Evidence for activity in the medieval period has also been found by archaeologists.
This 3D model was produced using data collected by an aerial LiDAR survey- a highly detailed 3D elevation map of the Lammermuirs- as part of the[ Whiteadder Project](http://whiteadder.aocarchaeology.com/).
