Ground Water Monitoring Data
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains corrected groundwater-level observations from monitoring wells in the Charleston, South Carolina area. Groundwater conditions are monitored using pressure sensors (Divers) installed in each well. Raw pressure measurements are processed to account for atmospheric pressure and field-measured water levels and are converted to groundwater elevations referenced to the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88). The dataset combines groundwater observations with site information, NOAA meteorological data, precipitation, and coastal water-level information to support evaluation of groundwater fluctuations, rainfall response, tidal influence, seasonal variability, and groundwater levels relative to land surface. Data are processed using an automated Python workflow. Diver observations are maintained in UTC for data processing and matching external datasets, with a corresponding local-time field provided for visualization and analysis. Precipitation and other meteorological observations are obtained from NOAA/NCEI data, while coastal water-level and tidal information are obtained from NOAA CO-OPS. The combined dataset is intended for use in ArcGIS Online maps, dashboards, time-series visualizations, and additional groundwater analysis.
