This file contains digital vector boundaries for local administrative units, level 1 (LAU1) in England and Wales as at December 2015. The boundaries are ultra generalised (500m) - clipped to the coastline (Mean High Water mark). Contains both Ordnance Survey and ONS Intellectual Property Rights.
