This stock contains habitats for farmland birds as laid down in the provincial Environmental Ordinance. In this Environmental Ordinance we have included rules for the protection of farmland birds and concentrate our protection measures on the areas where viable populations of farmland birds still occur, the so-called habitats. The management of farmland birds is organized by cooperatives of farmers (the agricultural collectives).
