Geoffrey Rush is a renowned Australian actor of both the stage and screen, and the recipient of an Oscar, a Golden Globe Award, a British Film Award, and an Australian Film Institute Award. Rush has an extensive history as a theatre actor and has played leading roles in such productions as The Diary of a Madman (1989) and The Government Inspector (1991). His cinema work includes Shine (1996), The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004),and The King's Speech (2010).
