*Parameters were estimated suing a Bayesian Melding procedure [81], [82] to fit the S. mansoni dynamic model to prevalence data for high-risk endemic communities. In high-risk communities, the overall S. mansoni prevalence was varied from 40–80% and the high worm burden prevalence was varied from 15–60% [6], [17], [83], [84].
