The NTM was generated from classified raw points from the Federal Topography Office, swisstopo. The raw points are interpolated on a regular raster grid with a spatial resolution of 0.5 meters. For the NTM, only the points of the following classes are used for interpolation: — Floor (waterproof surfaces) — Floor (permeable surfaces) — Water The NTM is therefore a model of the soil, without trees or buildings.
