QED - Feburary Enrolments (Point) 2017-2018

This dataset presents the location of Queensland state schools with February full-time enrolments by year level for the years 2017-2018.\n\nThe Queensland Department of Education takes two main snapshots of state school enrolments in February and August.\n\nFor further information about this dataset, please visit the [Queensland Department of Education - Student Enrolments February.](https://qed.qld.gov.au/publications/reports/statistics/schooling/students)\n\nPlease note:\n\n * AURIN has spatially enabled this data using the [Queensland Department of Education - State and Non State School Listings](https://schoolsdirectory.eq.edu.au/).\n\n * Data is made available through a AURIN-QCIF-RIDL collaboration.\n\n * From 2015, students enrolled at State Special schools are recorded against their age or ability appropriate year level as determined by their school.\n\n * From 2015, Year 7 became the first year of high school in Queensland.\n\n * A half cohort of Prep was introduced in 2007 to align with the shift in the compulsory school starting age from 2008. In 2018, the half cohort is in Year 11.\n\n * The school structure in this cube is as at February 2018; historical data has been combined for schools which have been amalgamated. For this reason schools which were created by an amalgamation may have enrolments for years prior to opening.\n\n * The number of schools in this dataset may differ from school count data. There are a small number of schools with students attending from other schools on a needs basis and do not have enrolments of their own. The Lady Cilento Children's Hospital School does not have enrolments of their own.\n
