We used RNAseq to identify key differences in transcriptomes between keratoacanthoma and well-differentiated cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, which suggested divergent keratinocyte populations between each tumor. Overall design: FFPE blocks from biopsy-proven KA and cSCC (n=10/group) were used for TruSe RNA Exome (Illumina) at 40M reads/sample following quality control (Novogene).
