The mechanisms of enhanced denitrification process driven by polylactic acid plastic: community structure, assembly and metabolic pathway

This study aimed to gain an in-depth understanding of the linkages among biodegradable PLA, nitrate reduction and microbial communities in the denitrification process. The metagenomic analysis revealed the microbial function and metabolism mechanisms on the PLA plastisphere.
