Flood Directive 2019 II Cycle — Area of Emilia-Romagna Region — Reno Basin, exposed elements, punctual geometry

Cartography represents the elements potentially exposed to flood phenomena with punctual geometry, relative to the territory of the Reno Basin Unit (UoM) (ITI021), in the portion falling within the Emilia-Romagna Region. It takes into account the macro-categories considered for the flood risk map, identifying — following the specifications of the Floods Directive — second cycle, Art. 6, within floodable areas, targets considered sensitive represented with punctual geometry, such as: historical and cultural assets, dams, various types of installations (identified in Annex I to Legislative Decree 59/2005 and pursuant to Legislative Decree 152/2006 (IPPC, RIR, AIA) and listed in the “European Pollutant Release and Transfer Register (E-PRTR)” (link https://prtr.eea.europa.eu/) potentially hazardous and polluting in the event of flooding, strategic structures (hospital settlements, schools), etc. The data come from the most up-to-date databases available and from various sources which, overall, update and improve the accuracy of the data used in the first cycle of implementation of the Directive. The map of the exposed elements is represented according to the field “macrocategory district” and also has information on the damage classes (1-4 moderate to very high).
