Climate-Related GKG News Dataset Around COP26--COP28 Events

This record contains a climate-related news dataset derived from the Global Knowledge Graph of the GDELT Project. The dataset was compiled for three event-centred observation periods around the United Nations Climate Change Conferences COP26, COP27, and COP28. The dataset contains 4,773,413 filtered news records covering 4 October--12 December 2021, 10 October--18 December 2022, and 30 October 2023--14 January 2024. The data are organized into yearly folders and daily subfolders. Each daily folder contains filtered GKG records, processed binary matrices, transaction files for frequent itemset mining, and maximal frequent itemset outputs generated with the FPMax algorithm.
