SO-CHIC Mooring Observations from the Northern Flank of Maud Rise (2023–2025)

This dataset contains observations from four moorings deployed on the northern flank of Maud Rise (Weddell Sea) as part of the Southern Ocean Carbon and Heat Impact on Climate (SO-CHIC) project. The moorings were deployed from January 2023 to January 2025 to monitor hydrographic variability and ocean circulation. Each mooring is equipped with five CTDs, five current meters, and five temperature sensors. Mooring 4 additionally carries an upward-looking ADCP for profiling current measurements. The dataset includes time series of temperature, salinity, and velocity at fixed depths.
