The current trends and patterns in energy systems research

In this comparison, seven papers were researched and collected using the AI tool ORKG Ask with the question of current trends and patterns in energy system research using the bibliometric analysis method. The papers were imported using ORKG's CSV import function. The comparison reveals that the most frequently utilized databases for bibliometric analysis are Web of Science and Scopus. However, the number of papers used varies from more than 500 to more than 17,000, with a sample set of 2,000 papers used for the largest data set. The most common metrics, such as number of publications, number of citations, and keyword co-occurrence, are used to show the trends in energy systems research, especially in the field of renewable energy. Consequently, this comparison identifies the leading research organizations and publishing countries.
