plant rDNA database

The Plant rDNA database is an online resource providing information on numbers and positions of ribosomal DNA signals and their structures for 2148 plant species (3783 entries). The data have been obtained from 785 publications on plant molecular cytogenetics using mostly fluorescent in situ hybridisation (FISH) of the 5S and the 18S-5.8S-26S ribosomal RNA genes (rDNA). Where available it also includes information on ploidy level, chromosome number, genome size and life cycle.植物rDNA数据库是一款在线资源，收录了2148种植物（共计3783条条目）的核糖体DNA信号的数量、位置及其结构相关信息。该数据库的数据来源于785篇植物分子细胞遗传学领域的研究论文，主要采用针对5S以及18S-5.8S-26S核糖体RNA基因（rDNA）的荧光原位杂交（fluorescent in situ hybridisation，FISH）技术完成数据采集。若存在可用数据，该数据库还会收录倍性水平、染色体数目、基因组大小以及生活周期相关信息。
