A free, query-ready directory of 150+ New York hospitals. Every hospital here is one whose actual machine-readable price file we fetched, parsed, and quality-gated. Each one publishes negotiated rates, standard charges, or both. None is registration-only. This is a coverage list, not a registration list, and it is the free companion to our paid dataset of tens of millions of hospital-published negotiated dollar rates. Each hospital carries its CMS CCN, name, address, CMS type, ownership, and star rating, so you can scope a peer set by hospital type, ownership, or geography. A curated health-system affiliation (flagship, satellite, or community) is included where assigned and growing. Every hospital carries a data-freshness stamp, and a rolled-up compliance signal appears where our compliance checks have run. A note on data lineage. Everything here is built from what hospitals themselves publish under the CMS hospital price transparency rule, not from payer-side Transparency-in-Coverage aggregates. When you benchmark with the paid dataset, you are quoting the hospital's own asserted rates, with contract methodology and care setting on every row: the right evidentiary basis for a provider-side payer renegotiation. The free directory is the peer-scoping layer; the paid rates dataset is the benchmark. Three things to know before you query: - Count hospitals with distinct CMS CCNs, not rows. Some facilities share one published source file but are distinct CMS-registered hospitals. - **LATEST_INGEST_DATE** is the date we last loaded the hospital's file, not the hospital's own republish date. - The compliance signal reflects checks where they have run. The absence of recorded violations is not a certification of compliance.
