Cryptic resistance mutations associated to misdiagnoses of Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (Whole genome sequencing)

This study describes how using whole genome sequencing we have been able to diagnose a multidrug resistant strain infecting a patient over the course of more than two years and which was considered susceptible by routine microbiological and molecular methods.
