资源简介:
With increasing insecticide resistance in malaria-endemic countries there is an urgent need for safe and effective novel vector control products. To improve the capacity of facilities that test insecticides in sub-Saharan Africa, a programme is supporting seven facilities towards Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) certification, the globally recognized standard for quality management system (QMS) for the conduct of non-clinical and environmental studies. We conducted document review of manager to-do lists and audits, to map activities undertaken at the KMCUCo-PAMVERC test facility, Tanzania and identify sources of delay in progress. This data was mapped against auditor GLP checklists and the timings for each activity was also mapped. We found 456 unique activities undertaken at the KCMUCo-PAMVERC facility, in support of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) certification, organised by relevant headings in the South African National Accreditation System GLP audit checklist and with timings of each activity.
