Soil property changes following vegetation restoration in soda saline-alkali soils: A meta-analysis

This dataset accompanies the meta-analysis "Soil property changes following vegetation restoration in soda saline-alkali soils: A meta-analysis." It contains the complete data extraction table (Table S1) used for all quantitative analyses, comprising 658 effect sizes from 13 field studies on the effects of vegetation restoration on soil physicochemical properties in soda saline-alkali wetlands. Variables include means, standard deviations, and sample sizes for soil pH, electrical conductivity (EC), soil organic carbon (SOC), soil organic matter (SOM), total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorus (TP), total potassium (TK), bulk density (BD), sodium adsorption ratio (SAR), and other soil properties. The accompanying R script (meta_analysis.R) reproduces all statistical analyses reported in the manuscript.
