This dataset is used for the paper "Anomalously darker land surfaces become wetter due to mesoscale circulations". It consists of cloud resolving simulations over an idealized tropical land surface, where a land surface albedo heterogeneity is prescribed for different initial soil moisture conditions. Horizontal resolution: 250 m. Length of the simulations: 500 days Albedo heterogeneities: albedo\_1425\_0713 and albedo\_1425\_0356.
