Vieira et al. - Priority effects in marine sessile communities

This dataset was used to follow the trajectory, diversity and community structure at experimental units founded by three functionally different species (the colonial ascidian <i>Botrylloides nigrum</i>, the arborescent bryozoan <i>Bugula neritina</i>, and the encrusting bryozoan <i>Schizoporella errata</i>) of two sizes (a proxy of different time-lag between first and subsequent arrivals). Dataset show richness of taxa, cover area as a proxy of relative abundance, survivorship of founder colonies after a month, and number of each founder species recruits and total recruits after a month.
