Key figures of providers of nursing care and help at home

The FOPH is responsible for publishing the key figures on care and help providers at home. These figures are based on data from the statistics on help and care at home (Spitex statistics), which the Federal Statistical Office collects every year. The Federal Statistics Act of 9 October 1992 (BStatG; SR 431.01) and Articles 23 and 59a of the Federal Act of 18 March 1994 on Health Insurance (KVG; SR 832.10) form the legal basis for this statistical and administrative survey. The focus is on key figures that are relevant for nursing care and activities in connection with compulsory nursing insurance (OKP).
