mFUND joint project DaRkSince - Axle load measurement data Albersloher Weg out of town (City of Münster)

This data offer includes the axle load measurement data of the Weigh-in-Motion measuring station ‘Albersloher Weg stadtauswärts’ (City of Münster). This includes information on vehicle weights (including axle and wheel loads), vehicle speeds and vehicle geometries. As part of the mFUND project DaRkSeit (data-based assessment of the resilience of municipal road infrastructure), permanently working sensors for the measurement of temperature and traffic load were introduced into the respective roadways at various locations in the city of Münster. The obtained measurement data of the temperatures in asphalt pavement as well as the local traffic load provide a basis for the development of a real-time-based calculation model for the condition assessment of municipal roads. The locations of the temperature and weigh-in-motion measuring stations within the city of Münster cover a representative spectrum of the various inner-city characteristics of the decisive influences on the road surface, i.e. the climate and traffic.
