资源简介:
The following data was collected in two separate waves, starting in June of 2018 and ending in Match 2020. 3D motion analysis along with surface EMG was collected in a fatigue and non-fatigued state before and after an omega-3 supplementation period. These variables were evaluated to assess the role omega-3 supplementation had on fatigue and risk factors associated with ACL ruptures in football players. Physiological measurements included VO2max on a cycle ergometer, a 3km time trial to assess running economy, and a repeated sprints test done on a cycle ergometer to assess repeated sprint ability that mirrors bouts of repeated sprints in match play. Functional fitness measures including muscular strength and speed and agility were assessed to determine the role of omega-3 supplementation in transferable skills related to football.
