Australian Landscape Films Research Collection

The Australian landscape films research collection is based upon essays about a range of Australian films in terms of how they depict or relate to the issue of landscape. These essays were written by RMIT Cinema Studies students as part of the Bonza subject. The Bonza database holds the references the students created to write the essays. The essays focus on landscape in Australian films (such as Walkabout, Moving Out, As Time Goes By, Bliss) and relate the discussion on the films to critical theory and writing on landscape and Australian cinema. The database records list information about the different films written about in the essays (like cast and crew) as well as listing critical reception and discussion on landscape about the films in question (as in a reference to a newspaper article or book chapter for example).
