All kinds of Japanese citizens who traveled from one region to another region on a day in October 1990 are covered. Only inter-regional travel for private and business purposes is observed. Region is defined as the daily-life activity area in which people commute to workplae and go to school. All over Japan is divided into 207 traffic zones. Not included the daily travel such as home-to-work, work-to-home, home-to-school, school-to-home.
