Gossypium hirsutum L. Transcriptome

Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) is one of most extensively used fiber crops in the world. However, it is still not clear how many genes are expressed in the cotton flower. Here, we performed RNA-seq analysis as a highly sensitive approach to investigate the Gossypium hirsutum floral transcriptome at three developmental stages.
