Minutes of Meeting: Governing Board, 5 October 2023

Minutes of the 99th IFLA Governing Board meeting held on 5 October 2023 via teleconference. The Board approved previous meeting minutes, reviewed updates from the Secretary General, and discussed the development of the IFLA Strategy 2025–2029. Key decisions included appointments to the Open Science and Scholarship Advisory Committee and the Advisory Committee on Standards. The Board noted financial updates, the withdrawal of the UAE as host for WLIC 2024, and initiated planning for WLIC 2025 and its model review. Victoria Owen was reappointed as IFLA’s representative to the ABC Board.
