Clinical Accuracy of Oscillometric Non-Invasive Blood Pressure Measurement in Laparoscopic and Robot-Assisted Surgery in the Trendelenburg Position: A Prospective Error Grid Analysis

This dataset contains paired intraoperative blood pressure measurements collected in a prospective observational cohort study evaluating the clinical accuracy of oscillometric non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) measurement against invasive intra-arterial pressure (IAP) in patients undergoing laparoscopic or robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery in the Trendelenburg position. The study was conducted at Koç University School of Medicine, Istanbul, Turkey, between September 2025 and January 2026. Each row represents one simultaneous measurement pair obtained from a single patient at a single time point. Measurements were recorded at 20-minute intervals following a stabilisation period after pneumoperitoneum establishment and Trendelenburg positioning. Invasive arterial pressure was measured continuously via a radial artery catheter (Dräger Atlan A350 / Infinity C500 monitor). Non-invasive blood pressure was measured oscillometrically using a standard upper arm cuff applied to the same arm as the arterial catheter. The dataset includes systolic, diastolic, and mean arterial pressure values for both methods, along with patient-level demographic and clinical variables. All patient identifiers are anonymised codes with no linkage to personal identifying information.
