NATIONAL TRADITIONAL ART OF BUKHARA: A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF ITS EVOLUTION

This article examines the origins of the national folk decorative and applied arts of Bukhara, their development prospects, and their place both within the culture of Uzbekistan and in world artistic culture. It also addresses the historical dynamics of the development of artistic crafts in the Bukhara region in the 20th–21st centuries, revealing the interrelationship between tradition and innovation in the context of contemporary cultural processes. The significance of Bukhara’s national applied arts is emphasized in terms of shaping the cultural identity of Uzbekistan, as well as their contribution to global artistic heritage.
