The Carbonfact Open Source LCA Database for Footwear & Apparel

The Carbonfact Open Source LCA Database for Footwear & Apparel is a free, open collection of life-cycle assessment (LCA) datasets for core textile manufacturing processes (spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing, printing, textile and shoe assembly, and more). Each process provides impact scores calculated with EF 3.1 characterization factors across the 16 PEF (Product Environmental Footprint) impact indicators, together with data-quality ratings and methodology documentation. The life-cycle inventories are built on top of ecoinvent 3.12 as the background database; full Brightway/Activity Browser inventory files are not distributed in this release, and the openly available impact scores and key foreground parameters described in each process's methodology are the citable content of this archive.
