Focusing on digestive system cancers, this dataset includes original texts and their simplified versions generated by a team of oncology nurses and nurse practitioners. The development of SimpleDC aims to make medical information more accessible to a broad audience, particularly ethnic minority groups, so as to improve health literacy and the efficiency of information dissemination.
