资源简介:
Bladder cancer (BCa) is the most common malignant tumor of the urinary system. Although new research has promoted the diagnosis and treatment of BCa in recent years, the clinical diagnosis and treatment of BCa has remained basically unchanged for many years. The development of molecular biology and the further understanding of tumorigenesis have opened the era of personalized medicine for BCa to a certain extent. However, future directions in BCa epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment require further in-depth exploration.A large amount of evidence shows that microorganisms and microbial products can accelerate carcinogenesis and be transformed and applied in the treatment of tumors. However, research on the microbiome related to bladder tumors is still in its early stages. The types of bladder tumor related microorganisms discovered through 16s rRNA sequencing are only at the description stage. There is no strong experimental evidence to prove the regulatory effect of specific microorganisms on bladder tumors. Therefore, there is an urgent need for in-depth research on the microbiome related to bladder tumors to explore potential new directions for diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of bladder tumors.
