Parametrizations for MESMER v1.0.0

The spatial climate emulator MESMER is a modelling tool that translates rapidly any scenario into spatial projections of climate variables. Using various statistical methods, MESMER mimics the behavior of Earth System Models (ESMs) at a much lower computational cost. The individual responses of every available ESM to evolutions in global mean temperature are calibrated, meaning that uncertainties in climate modelling can be evaluated. The spatial and temporal natural variabilities of each ESM are explicitly accounted for, providing large ensembles of plausible climate projections. Nine variables are provided here: - MESMER: annual mean temperature (tas) - MESMER-M: monthly mean temperature (tas) - MESMER-X: annual maximum temperature (txx), annual average of the soil moisture (mrso), annual minimum of the monthly average soil moisture (mrso_minmon), annual maximum of the Fire Weather Index (fwixx), seasonal average of the Fire Weather Index (fwisa), annual number of days with extreme fire weather (fwixd), length of the fire season (fwils).
