European FLWPR Taxonomically Annotated Corpus and Layer 3 Blind Audit

This repository contains a retained and taxonomically annotated corpus of 1,324 Food Loss and Waste Prevention and Reduction (FLWPR) source records collected from European monitoring initiatives and expert-curated sources. The full corpus includes records identified during expert review as non-qualifying entries and should not be interpreted as comprising 1,324 independently validated FLWPR actions. The repository includes: the retained and taxonomically annotated corpus (n=1,324), the final independent Layer 3 blind audit sample (n=125), record-level model predictions, original free-text expert annotations, retrospectively expert-coded FSC Stage and Action Type reference labels, and record-eligibility status, the documented retrospective coding protocol, Python scripts used to reproduce the FSC Stage and Action Type performance metrics, per-category and manuscript-level metric outputs, metadata, column documentation, citation information, licensing information, and SHA-256 checksums. The Layer 3 audit contains 75 qualifying/evaluable records and 50 non-qualifying entries. Root Cause category-level performance is not reported because corrected expert causal labels were not retained in the original audit comments. The repository supports reproducible research on food waste prevention, Zero-Shot Learning, Human-in-the-Loop validation, taxonomic harmonisation, SDG 12.3 monitoring, and subsequent environmental-data linkage.
