EFFECTIVENESS OF PROJECT-BASED LEARNING (PBL) TECHNOLOGY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF GIFTED STUDENTS

This article examines the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PBL) technology in the development of gifted students. The study explores how PBL contributes to enhancing students’ cognitive, creative, and research skills through active participation in real-world problem-solving tasks. Special attention is given to the role of student-centered learning environments, where learners are encouraged to take responsibility for planning, executing, and evaluating their own projects. The research highlights that PBL fosters critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and independent learning skills, which are essential components of gifted education. In addition, the study analyzes how teachers act as facilitators in guiding students’ learning processes and ensuring meaningful engagement in project activities. The findings suggest that the systematic use of PBL technology significantly improves the academic performance and creative potential of gifted students, making it an effective pedagogical approach in modern higher education.
