Architecture Dictionary

The AOS terminology database brings together architectural and construction terminology and definitions. It is estimated that the terminology base will continue to evolve over the next 5 years (2015-2019). The ultimate goal of the process is to publish a broad-based illustrated skill dictionary, which would become a reliable manual and source for engineers, architects, art historians, conservators, etc. The compiled term collection should significantly facilitate mutual understanding between the specified professional circles and fill the gap in Estonian-language information literature in the field of construction and architecture. The Estonian Academy of Arts, Tallinn University of Technology, Tallinn University of Applied Sciences, representatives of professional associations and numerous experienced specialists are involved in compiling the vocabulary.
