This dataset contains triplicate excitation and emission spectra of polycyclic aromatic sulfur heterocycles (PASHs) with molecular weight (MW) 234 Da used to create smoothed spectra at room-temperature (RT), 77K, and 4.2K for datasets that are available under GRIIDC UDIs R5.x284.000:0009, R5.x284.000:0010, R5.x284.000:0011, R5.x284.000:0013, and R5.x284.000:0014. RT, 77K, and 4.2K excitation and emission spectra were recorded with the aid of a Fluormax (Horiba Jobin Yvon) using shpol'skii solvents and continuous wave lamp. Excitation and phosphorescence spectra were also recorded using pulsed lamp at 77K and 4.2K. Spectra were reported for 6 PASHs (Anthrathiophenes and benzonaphthothiophenes) with molecular weight 234 Da. All measurements were done by using fiber optic probe (FOP).
