This is a supplementary dataset for a submitted manuscript "Marine silica cycle perturbations caused by vigorous and variable ocean overturning circulation during the early Paleogene Hothouse" by Yasukawa et al. Analytical methods are as follows. Bulk carbonate d13C and d18O: Described in Yasukawa et al. (2017). TC, TOC, TIC, and CaCO3 for Sites U1553 and 1215: Described in Kuwahara et al. (2024). CaCO3 for Site 213: Described in Yasukawa et al. (2017). SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3, CaO, and K2O contents: Described in Kato et al. (1998) and Yasukawa et al. (2014). Data for Sites 1220 and 1221 are from ODP Leg 199 Shipboard Science Party (2002). Age models for Site U1553: Niederbockstruck et al. (2024), Site 1209: Westerhold et al. (2018), Site 1215: Leon-Rodriguez and Dickens (2010), calibrated to The Geologic Time Scale 2012 (Gradstein et al., 2012), Site 752: Yasukawa et al. (2017), calibrated to The Geologic Time Scale 2012 (Gradstein et al., 2012).
