This dataset contains a single video (.mp4) of optical and infra-red monitoring of fused filament fabrication (FFF). It reveals the distributions and variations of the temperature fields of FFF printed parts.<br> <b>Video title:</b> Part cooling monitored with two infra-red cameras<br> <b>Basic info: </b><br> <ul> <li><b>3D printing:</b> Typhoon hot-end controlled by an ABB robot arm; nozzle temperature 200 ℃, travelling speed 20 mm/s. Part geometry: single-walled square with an edge length of 120 mm, printed at a layer height of 0.9 mm.<br> <li><b>IR CAM 1:</b> FLIR A325sc (KPI: spatial resolution ~700 μm/pixel at 60 Hz)<br> <li><b>IR CAM 2:</b> Optris PI640 (KPI: spatial resolution 31.25 μm/pixel at 32 Hz, FOV 20 ×15 [mm]) <br> </ul> <b>Acknowledgement:</b> <br> The printing was done with Eglé Vasiliauskaité during the Romupam project.<br>
