The vertical lines are available as raster data in Bavaria (Tagged Image File Format — Tiff). The display of the vertical lines is optimised for the 1:5000 scale. The distance (equivalent distance) of the vertical lines depends on the slope of the terrain. It varies from 0.5 m in flat terrain to 20 m in the high mountains.
