Survey Data of Peat Resources and Carbon Pools in Typical Peatlands from the Comprehensive Survey on China's Marsh Wetland Resources and Their Key Eco-Environmental Benefits (2013–2018). This dataset is grouped by sampling sites, recording the peat resource status of typical peatlands and estimating their carbon pools. The recorded variables include: serial number, survey date, name of peatland, name of affiliated marsh, affiliated region, peatland type, landform type, water recharge type, dominant vegetation type, utilization mode, protection status, degree of destruction, longitude and latitude of main sampling site, elevation of main sampling site, peat thickness of main sampling site, longitude and latitude of auxiliary sampling site, elevation of auxiliary sampling site, peat thickness of auxiliary sampling site, dry bulk density, organic carbon content, peat area, peat resource reserve, carbon storage, and surveyor. This dataset has a total of 798 records.
