G20 subnational legislatures

This dataset gathers several information related to subnational legislatures of G20 countries. It lists subnational lower and upper house seats, population, subnational population per subnational seat and area in km². The dataset holds textual data (national and subnational unit names) and quantitative and discret numerical data. All data are raw besides population per subnational seat that simply divides total subnational seats by subnational unit population and this displays minimal processing. This dataset aims at making comparative political studies possible thus improving studies on subnational legislatures that have been largely ignored by relevant literature, possibly due to the lack of centrally located data.
