Diverse breast cancer cell lines possess E-selectin ligand activity.

Breast cancer cells were surface labeled with anti-sLex mAb (CSLEX-1), anti-sLea mAb (KM-231), or E-Ig chimera and analyzed by flow cytometry. The positive mean fluorescence intensities, compared to respective isotype control, are categorized as high (++) or low (+). The negative/very low intensities with respect to respective isotype control are indicated by (−). IDC, invasive ductal carcinoma; AC, adenocarcinoma; NR, not reported.
