资源简介:
The capacity of forests under nutrient constraints to enhance carbon (C) sequestration under elevated CO2 (eCO2) remains a key uncertainty in modeling the C cycle. Although existing evidence indicates that low phosphorus (P) bioavailability may restrict the CO2 fertilization effect on plant growth, it is still poorly understood to what extent this limitation regulates ecosystem responses to eCO2 in forests adapted to P-deficient soils. Using eight P-enabled models, we simulated the degree and mechanisms of interaction between P bioavailability and eCO2, replicating an ecosystem-scale P addition experiment conducted in a P-limited Eucalyptus forest subjected to long-term free-air CO2 enrichment. This dataset contains simulation results of C-P interactions generated by the eight models based on the EucFACE experimental platform, along with the R code used to produce the findings presented in the study.
