Motivation-Use: One of the most critical tasks in Grant Management is to ensure that funding opportunities are correctly identified, planned and disseminated. The political situation and government interventions in the Spanish Science Systems have driven to increased diversity and quantities of public funding opportunities. Despite the advances achieved by public institutions to improve dissemination of public funding opportunities, the landscape continues to be highly complex, information is granulated over numerous funding bodies. Private companies are offering data intelligence funding services but access is not open. Information centralization has the power to increase efficiency of Grant Management teams, reducing time spent on daily tasks and enabling more sophisticated approaches for overall grant management through statistical analysis and data intelligence. The dataset produced contains the general funding opportunities in science for the institutions of the Spanish National Research Council. Dataset description The dataset shows the general funding opportunities avaiable for the Spanish National Research Council entities in a diversity of areas (R&D Projects, Innovation Projects, Grants for Research Staff, Structural Funding, Installations and Equipment, Personnel Mobility and Networks, Science Communication, Scientific Advice to Policy Makers) with the corresponding application windows from 2019 to 2025.
