Raw data from Chemical Composition of Leaf Biomass in Asparagaceae Species

his dataset supports a manuscript submitted for publication and includes quantitative data on extractives and lignocellulosic components (cellulose, hemicelluloses, and lignin) from leaves of seven Asparagaceae species. It also contains Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectra of purified lignin and cellulose, used to assess lignin monomer composition and cellulose crystallinity. These data provide the basis for the chemical and structural characterization of leaf biomass and its potential applications.
