Share of SMEs ranking ESG as a top priority, in Asia Pacific 2023

As of 2023, the majority of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) surveyed viewed environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) as a top priority. Indonesia led the way with almost all of the firms surveyed in this country stating ESG was considered to be a leading business priority. India ranked second with 92 percent of businesses surveyed considering ESG to be a top-ranking priority.
