The Role of Protein Corona in Lung Accumulation and Fate of Polystyrene Nanoplastics

Our findings highlight the importance of understanding the role of coronal proteins in PS NPs uptake, and their potential implications for human health. This study sheds light on a previously unexplored pathway for nanoplastic entry into the lung and underscores the significance of considering the interactions between nanoplastics and biological molecules in future research on nanotoxicology and respiratory diseases.
